„Magnets in conservation, Restoration and Display of Works of Art"

The book presents neither a repetition nor a simplification of the commonly available knowledge. It is rather the summary of the Author’s own focused research that organizes and clarifies a number of topics, research andmeasurement methodology, as well as interpretations of the measured data.

“Mrs. Zuzanna Szozda’s book is innovative and very inspiring in many respects. The monograph includes the unprecedented in the literature on the subject basics of magnetism in relation to art and conservation, and in relation to the health and safety issues. Discussed and presented are also suggestions and examples of the use of magnets in non-hazardous and highly practical mounting systems, indicators of magnetic energy density and polarity (of north and south pole), as well as methods enabling the control of the force of attraction, i.e. pressure.”
